Using fabrice to cover wood paneling?
My husband, daughter and I are moving into a rental home that has wood paneling that I HATE! They wont let us paint it... so the only other option is covering it with fabric... I have a couple questions though...
Will the liquid starch ruin the wood paneling?
How long will it take for the liquid starch to dry?
What type of fabric is best to use?

I would say anything you put on that paneling is going to harm it. Why not staple the fabric at the ceiling then pulling it tight do the same at the bottom. And a small strip of wood molding to cover the ends of the fabric and the staples. You could glue that to the fabric. Then when you leave it a simple process of removing a few staples.
