Are there any good library in Accra?
I am a foreigner in Accra.My job is help to bridge the gap between China and Africa like products enquiry or introduce some investment from China to Africa.Like cooperate together with Ghanaian to open factory or import some machine to help local people to start factory.i should know more about Ghana resource.Especailly natural resource like wood,crop,and mine.So maybe in library i can search some informations or how can i know some people who knows much about this areas like university student major in this or individuals who are espects in this area or some expert.Hope they will be kind to help me.
Ghanaians tend not to read much which is why there aren't many bookshops and only a few daily newspapers, as such there isn't much demand for libraries.
The few libraries there are are operated by the Ghana Library Board but the biggest ones are in the Universities. Legon (Accra) has a large research library and is probably the best place for you to visit... http://www.ug.edu.gh/library.php
