I have titleist ap2 irons, should i use a titleist gap wedge or a vokey design 50 degree wedge?

the problem is i dont have either so i wouldnt be able to try them both

I also swing the AP2s - 710 series. Wedges are specific to how you feel. Even gap wedges. I was playing srixon W-506 wedges with my titleists without a problem. They're different scoring tools. If i may make a suggestion though, don't get caught up in names. Go with what feels and plays well for you. Unfortunately you'll not find off the rack wedges that you can demo effectively, though you can try hitting them on a simulator just for swing weight and feel. Keep in mind that your PW in that set is 47*. Depending on your next wedge after your gap, you may want to rethink what loft you want. for example if your next wedge up is 56, you may want to entertain a 51 or 52 degree instead to properly fill the gap.

Try going to www.eidolongolf.com. They make some of the finest wedges you'll ever come across and have been doing it for a while - very quietly. What's better they'll custom build to you personally and if you decide they're not the best wedges, you return them and they'll buy you one of your preferred wedges (titleist, cleveland, etc). You won't do that though, because they're awesome. Personal opinion.
