I want to know what is a good set of irons for a mid handicapper (I have a 15) any help?

I need to upgrade my golf irons. I have wilson Fat shaft irons with a cavity back graphite shaft regular flex. I was looking to spend a little bit more, upgrade to a ping or a taylor made set. Any responses would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

the ping g5 irons are a pretty good set. you can get them for $400. you can also change the lie angle on them to get them custom fit for you.you can do this online at tgw.com.i am playing the ping g5 irons right now and they are awesome

if you want a newer,more expensive model,you should look into the ping g10 or ping rapture v2. you can also get those custom fit.

if you dont like these irons, then you could look at the hot list 2009 at golf digest.com.

if your hitting your irons left or right very often, then it might be time to get steel shafts.steel has more control than graphite and is ment for a mid to low handicapper.plus steels cheaper than graphite.
