Seat cover: can I use a regular bench cover for a 50/50 split bench?

I have an '85 Ramcharger with a 50/50 split bench seat. If I get a normal full bench seat cover will it impede the use of the seat? I use it frequently.

A regular bench cover will make it hard for the 50/50 seat to function the way it does now. You would have to simultaneously pull the levers on each side of the seat, to be able to fold the backrests forward. You'd have to do the same thing to slide the seats back and forth. Not to mention, a regular bench cover might not fit it anyway. I wouldn't do it.
