I am looking for Muscle Back irons, That are not blades?
I currently use Mizuno MX-23's. The 8-PW are Musclebacks, and the 3-7 Irons are cavities. I love the feel of the 8 9 and PW, and would like to know if any sets on the market offer the muscleback all the way through the set, without, being a blade. I can hit blades, but i would prefer to keep a little forgiveness. Are there any irons out there that fit this profile. I am a 9.8 handicap, with a 110 mph driver swing speed, and i prefer to play a baby fade. My 7 iron speed is 94mph if that helps...
I was using MX-23's myself until last week.
I got fitted for the Mizuno MP52's. Cut Muscle and amazing!
I won't go into trying to make you buy them, but you should get fitted with Mizuno.
Them swing speeds will be needing a stiff shaft, and your handicap will probably be with the Mizuno MP57 head (Also Cut Muscle)
In the UK there are 3 national fitting centres and the fitting is free, you don't even need to buy there and then.
So from my experiance I would look at the MP52 and MP57.
