If i am 6 feet tall, how long should my snowboard be if i buy one?

I am going to buy a snowboard in the near future and was wondering if any seasoned boarder knows how long a board should be if I am 6 feet tall? And I was also wondering if my foot should your feet be hanging off the board a little bit or not at all when I ride?

It should be up to your chin for all mountain riding, a little shorter if you do parks, and a little longer if you are heavier then normal for your height. Its fine if your feet hang over the board, some people don't like it though. If your feet do and you don't like it, you can buy a wide snowboard or change your stance a bit, as a beginner you aren't really gonna notice though.
