can anyone help me be more accurate with my slingshot?

i bought a wrist rocket slingshot with hyper velocity bands and a magnetic pouch. i seem to have trouble aiming it very precisly i try to kill crows but i cant hit them where i want . i am using 1/4 steel shot is there any thing better like 3/8 works ok for me . just trying to see if anyone can help me.

Slingshots work with the same rules as a bow. Sight with both eyes and start close to your target. Learn in steps.

Start by turning a bucket on it's side and shoot into the bucket. Figure out the distance and ark of your slingshot in ten foot intervals and learn to judge distance. Then hang the bucket so it can swing Learning then to hit a moving target. From there you move to tin cans or water bottles. Same exact practice.

Each time you shoot judge the shot you've made and when you hit accurately you understand what made you accurate so you can repeat that action. Time and practice are the best teachers. Don't get yourself in a position of not trusting your shot. Learn to analyze each shot and find your groove.
