Should I buy Graphite or Steel Shaft Irons?
I am a beginner level golfer (49 on 9) and I use 21 year old clubs with a steel shaft now. I am looking to buy new irons, and I don't know whether to go with graphite or steel shaft. I am comfortable with a graphite shaft driver, but I am not sure about the irons.
i would say steel. for me it doesn't flex the shaft as much which helps me hit straight every time. i have a driver that has a graphite shaft which helps my game tremendously. but for the irons i would definately go steel.
