What PGA tour players use graphite shafts for irons?
If you can, can you tell me which is better for irons?
Before K.J. Choi switched to Nike, he used graphite shafts in his irons. Colin Montgomerie does currently. More female golfers and Champions Tour players use graphite in their irons. If your younger, use steel shafts. They provide much more control than graphite.

Titleist AP1 712 Irons - (Graphite) 4-GW $959.99 Iron performance can best be measured, not only by the quality of shots produced by well-executed swings, but also by the quality of shots when less-than-ideal contact is made with the ball. From an engineering standpoint, the key to maximizing shot quality on off-center hits is weight distribution. "There is a way to imp rove distance in irons, and we?ve figured it out," adds Kvinge. "By filling the iron head with nitrogen gas , we?ve been able to thin the face and create a much bigger sweet spot. The result is longer shots with more consistent spin rates no matter where you hit the ball on the face. So you not only get more distance, you get better accuracy, too." Kvinge points out that the technology goes beyond nitrogen. To maximize club-head speed, PowerBilt is using a proprietary Apollo steel shaft which weighs only 85 grams ? much lighter than a conventional steel shaft and slightly more than graphite.
