The Nineteenth Hole

Today I was at the driving range and my friend was hitting a little too close to me. He was only swinging with one hand with a wedge but the follow through drilled me in the side of the head (point of impact was about a cm from my left ear, in line with the top of my ear). I didn't fall over or anything but it hurt quite abit. I became really irratable and angry at the kid who did it but I was able to sort of walk it off. Im wondering if you think i may have had a minor concussion? I mean I could answer simple questions afterwards and actually continued to hit balls, but i had a little trouble speaking (but i usually do when i get really p'd off and angry like i was). My dad's a doctor and doesnt think im concussed but im not really sure. Its been about 5 hours since the incident and i feel fine, no headache really, just some pain and swelling where I was hit. Does anyone think this could be more serious than it seems?
