why is my throw out bearing not centered on the shaft on my 69 vw bug?
jbugs.com has all the parts you'd need to replace it. in i believe 1972 they change the throwout/ pressure plate so if someone else installed a new throwout for the wrong year that MAY be it, but i doubt it. I'd say that maybe the cross shaft is warped... that's all i can think of.

The problem for the typical shaft occurred in the creation of high MOI drivers.
