How can I increase my distance using a driver?

I'm 20 years old, 6'5 195, and I use a Big Bertha ERC Fusion driver with a Grafalloy stiff shaft, one with a 9 degree loft, the other with a 10 degree loft.

Lately, I've been maxing out at 240 on my drives...is there anyway I can improve this? I've been doing rotational situps to increase flexibility so far.

Any and all tips are welcome.

Many things contribute to long distance with the driver in some way.

1. Swing technique
2. Timing
3. Flexibility
4. Strength
5. Equipment

This list is in order of what has the most effect. You can only edge out a matter of a few yards with new equipment, more with strength and flexibility, but timing and technique by far contribute the most.

I have seen people very out of shape (myself included at one point) still drive the ball 290+, and others who are in very good shape struggle to reach 250. Exercises are important and will help, but not by as much as you are looking for, more than likely. Just keep working on your swing, and take lessons from a local PGA Professional when you can and you should see an increase in distance.
